Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I'm looking to rent a house for a night (or potentially a weekend) to throw a party…
Hey guys, Again, not sure if I’m posting in the right place so sorry if I’m not, but as the title states I’m looking for a place to rent out for one night (or for a weekend) for a party. I will put all the immediately relevant details in this post, and if by any chance someone is actually interested (I’m not expecting any positive replies haha) I will PM you with more details and we can discuss. First up, this would be preferably for either 3/3/17 (Friday) or 4/3/17 (Saturday) night, but the date itself is negotiable if need be. Start time on the night would preferably be early evening or late afternoon, maybe 4pm – 6pm or so, this is negotiable. End time the next day would be up to you but give us time to clean the house up and get our shit together. More importantly, and
A new Summer high record for us (I'm sure elsewhere also)

A Reminder for White's Hill Reserve Users
According to two wildlife carers I met near the Reserve this afternoon, one of the Reserve’s five remaining Pretty Faced Wallabies (also known as Whiptail Wallabies) was mauled by an off-leash dog in the Reserve last week. Both the wallaby and the young joey it was carrying had to be euthanized. This was not the first time this has recently occurred either, a few months back I had to intervene to stop another dog attacking a wallaby near Pine Mountain Rd. In this case, the dog’s owner wasn’t even in sight and was wandering off track nearly a kilometer away. Given how fast Brisbane is growing we are pretty lucky that we still have areas of undeveloped bushland like Whites Hill Reserve so close to the CBD. In addition to the wallabies, the Reserve still has a small population of koalas however both these species will not be present much
Remember our little buddies this weekend
Just a reminder to please remember our furry and feathered friends this weekend. If you have shade and the ability to put out some extra water for native animals, please do so. Make sure your pets have access to cool and water as well. Bend the rules, let them inside to the airconditioning with you. We’re not the only ones who can suffer heat stress and become sick from the weather! submitted by /u/yeskitty [link] [comments]

Rental issues
Looking for a bit of advice on what to do with what I consider a serious issue with the house I am currently renting in Brisbane. We moved in around July of last year and signed a 12 month lease. The property was fine up until around November when we had the first major rainfall since moving in and we discovered that there is a large number of water leaks in the property when it rains especially around some of the windows and a couple of the doors. We told the real estate when we first noticed it in November and despite numerous follow ups and pictures and videos taken of the leaks nothing has been done as of yet. We issued the real estate with a breach notice last Friday and now being Saturday 7 days have passed since we issued it and just trying to figure out our
