Driving school for scared learner

I was teaching my partner to drive for almost 9 months until we got sideswiped by a drunk driver and pushed off the road into a tree. Since then she has been too scared to drive my dual clutch “auto” car or any of her family’s manual cars(my new car was written off but thankfully was replaced) She wants to learn to drive (And needs to for her paramedic Uni course) but she needs help with a driving school or even a closed course learners school initially. Is there a auto driving school on the south side that redditors could recommend for her? submitted by /u/beingaware [link] [comments]

Tpg ADSL 2+ or Optus Cable

Hi Brisbaners Currently with tpg adsl2 (24mbs) for 50 per month. Internet generally pretty solid with the occasional drop-outs or slower speeds every second month or so. I see however that optus are doing 60 per month for cable (30mbs) and later will “upgrade” to NBN when it’s available in my area for free.. However they is only 12mbs unless I pay even more… Can someone tell me from their experiences how cable with optus is, and/or why I would want to be “upgraded” to NBN which has half the speeds of my current internet. Just sounds like a big marketing ploy to me at the moment… submitted by /u/Madtomato1 [link] [comments]

An option on Google Maps driving navigation where you can set a minimum amount of time it saves to suggest a toll road

I always set it to “Avoid tolls” (which you can’t set by default as far as I know) but wish there was an option where I could say something like “If this is going to halve my journey time, then give me the toll option, otherwise avoid tolls”. If anyone here is a big swinging dick at Google and could make this happen, that’d be great thanks. submitted by /u/ma0sm [link] [comments]
