Hey Brisbanites, I need your help. I am doing my Honours in the Department of Tourism, Sport and Hotel Management, at Griffith University. I really need participants in a study I am conducting – investigating the effect of Virtual Reality technology on the tourism behaviour of families. Participation in my study will take about 2 hours and will involve a demonstration using the Samsung Gear VR before doing a group interview with the whole family. The study is anonymous and your opinion is of utmost importance. Should you prefer to read a little more about the study, informed consent as well as participation information can be found here. I’m really struggling to find families to interview. If you guys have any suggestions or groups I should be looking into, please let me know. I’ve tried some family/kids Facebook groups, uni obviously, and friends, but it’s still going too slowly. Thanks!

Can you turn right from the middle lane that comes off the Riverside Expressway Elizabeth Street exit
There is no sign preventing this however there is some debate about whether you can. It worries some uber drivers because they don’t realise that the right hand Lane coming from south off the rsew is under a separate light system and they also see the sign in the left hand Lane indicating no right turn but from my opinion and from what other uber drivers have recommended you can turn right from the middle lane there’s no sign to prevent that and hence the timing of the lights allowing the middle lane to cut across the right lane. Yes I get it that you cannot travel far down William Street due to the Queens Wharf that’s not the issue here submitted by /u/Gatoblanconz [link] [comments]

I'm strongly opposed to McDonald's going going in where JoJo's was
I find wherever there’s a McDonald’s there is mess and smell and rubbish around. I think Queen Street Mall is definitely worse off with it there. submitted by /u/Gatoblanconz [link] [comments]
