Hi all! I’ve read the official council regulations and read a bit about how to actually run garage sales properly (Stuff that could probably easily be forgotten like making sure you have plenty of change etc.). Do you guys have any tips on how to get a garage sale out there? I’m a bit disappointed that you can’t officially put signs out on posts, as a designer making some posters would have been an easy solution. Where are all the garage sale peeps planning their weekend mornings? I am downsizing from a 3bd house to 2bd apartment, so selling a bunch of stuff from limited addition music prints to a big freedom furniture jasper couch, as well as a bunch of other things. Will probably have to take place either after christmas or around the 17th and marketed a bit as a christmas sale – ideal but a lot sooner.
