Long story short: I lost my 18+ card a year ago when my wallet got stolen. I haven’t had a copy of my birth certificate for ages. Two years ago I tried to get a copy off my father but he refused. And my medicare card was lost at the same time as my wallet. Anyway, I’m trying to get my life sorted, and identification is a large part of that. But to re-issue my ID I need a birth certificate. To get my birth certificate I need ID. I guess I just want to know if anyone can give me an answer to this catch-22. Is there anywhere I can go talk to someone to try and sort this stuff out?
