Any good laptop repair stores you could recommend around Sunnybank Plaza or Garden City?

Hey guys, I’m visiting from Sydney so have no idea about any laptop repair shops in my area so need your help. It looks like I will need a full screen replacement due to damaged pixels (my screen looks like an LSD addicted savants modern abstract art piece) and need to find a laptop repair shop around Sunnybank or Garden City. I’m not a local (well haven’t been for a long time) so don’t really know where to start. Preferably it’s cheap, but all in all I don’t want to sacrifice the quality of the repair job so don’t really mind if I have to stretch the pockets a bit. Thanks for your help!!! submitted by /u/AllCatsandNoPussy [link] [comments]

Reviews and experience with drawer dishwashers

Hi guys does – never had a dishwasher before and need a small ‘drawer’ one – there is no space for a big boy. Does anyone have any recommendation and or retailer to purchase this from? I will live here for five years and its just me. In before laze – it will be better for when I rent it to have one in and I also don’t like dishes. submitted by /u/LCCpoodle [link] [comments]

Lost Teddy Bear found in Taigum Region

I’ve helped find a lost teddy bear that was found in Taigum at Beams/Groth Rd bus stop. We’ve taken them around on several journeys to try and see if we could find their owner. If anybody has information on where we might find an owner for this bear either post in the comments, or use the Facebook page that has been set up for them. Any more information can also be found on the page as well as some of the stories we have helped make with them. I hope someone on here may find a possible lead on who this poor Teddy Bear’s owner is. submitted by /u/kdawg969 [link] [comments]

Is it too much to ask for people to not stand on the right hand or side of escalators?

That’s one trait I’ve noticed since moving here, people have no awareness of people around them Hell, in Melbourne there’s signs on the escalators saying stand on the left if you insist on standing. And if it’s not that it’s people standing in the middle and holding both sides. submitted by /u/Inuit-Joe [link] [comments]

Excess milk crates

So, we have a problem at my work where we have like 150+ norco milk crates that the milk guy is supposed to pick up, but he never does. Occasionally he takes a few but it keeps building up and it’s now becoming a problem. We’ve spoken to the guy and called the supplier numerous times and he still just dumps more crates of milk and bails saying he’s already late and doesn’t have time. We’ve been told we can take home as many as we like, but what happens there? Does the supplier actually want them back or do they not even care? That’s technically stealing though, right? I’m at a point though where I’m tempted to just take them home and flog em off on eBay or something, or just throw them out (seems like a waste though). submitted by /u/cfb_rolley [link] [comments]

Up an hour early due to "network provided timezone"

Can’t Queensland pass a law that makes sure the mobile network providers^ do our no daylight savings thing correctly? We get the southerners disruptions each year without the actual time change occurring. Either that or we could actually do daylight savings. I’m not worried either way, but this crazy middle ground we currently have is the worst. ^ Using ALDI mobile, Telstra network (apparently). submitted by /u/aplund [link] [comments]
