Hi guys, clearing out my garage I found two textbooks that I hope are still required for the first part of the child care course at tafe and looking to hand them off for free to any student who needs them because I know how expensive textbooks can be. If anyone here or anyone you know wants them, please chuck a PM or comment! Textbooks are Birth to big school and The big picture. Any good laptop repair stores you could recommend around Sunnybank Plaza or Garden City?

Hey guys, I’m visiting from Sydney so have no idea about any laptop repair shops in my area so need your help. It looks like I will need a full screen replacement due to damaged pixels (my screen looks like an LSD addicted savants modern abstract art piece) and need to find a laptop repair shop around Sunnybank or Garden City. I’m not a local (well haven’t been for a long time) so don’t really know where to start. Preferably it’s cheap, but all in all I don’t want to sacrifice the quality of the repair job so don’t really mind if I have to stretch the pockets a bit. Thanks for your help!!! submitted by /u/AllCatsandNoPussy [link] [comments]

Reviews and experience with drawer dishwashers

Hi guys does – never had a dishwasher before and need a small ‘drawer’ one – there is no space for a big boy. Does anyone have any recommendation and or retailer to purchase this from? I will live here for five years and its just me. In before laze – it will be better for when I rent it to have one in and I also don’t like dishes. submitted by /u/LCCpoodle [link] [comments]

Lost Teddy Bear found in Taigum Region

I’ve helped find a lost teddy bear that was found in Taigum at Beams/Groth Rd bus stop. We’ve taken them around on several journeys to try and see if we could find their owner. If anybody has information on where we might find an owner for this bear either post in the comments, or use the Facebook page that has been set up for them. Any more information can also be found on the page as well as some of the stories we have helped make with them. I hope someone on here may find a possible lead on who this poor Teddy Bear’s owner is. submitted by /u/kdawg969 [link] [comments]

Is it too much to ask for people to not stand on the right hand or side of escalators?

That’s one trait I’ve noticed since moving here, people have no awareness of people around them Hell, in Melbourne there’s signs on the escalators saying stand on the left if you insist on standing. And if it’s not that it’s people standing in the middle and holding both sides. submitted by /u/Inuit-Joe [link] [comments]

Safety, noise, and parking on the 800 block of Light Street.

My wife and I have been trying to move to Baltimore for the last month and things keep getting in the way. About to pull the trigger on a place on the 800 block of light street. I’m a little worried that since it is so busy we will have a harder time parking than if we were closer to riverside ave. That isn’t such a big deal as long as it is safe to walk home from parking 3-4 blocks away. Also, any sense of how noisy that area is? I saw a fire station not far away. submitted by /u/dak52 [link] [comments]
