Warning about Pendo Tablets

This morning while my partner and I were cleaning the boys room, we discovered that one of their Pendo 7″ tablets had exploded… this was a 2 yo tablet that hadnt been using for about 9 mths – as we had gotten a new one for him as the old one would just keep rebooting when he powered it up. She’s left us with $140 (her share) of the power bill unpaid, a flea infestation in her room and just a extremely poorly cleaned room (a solid layer of cat hair on the fan, for example). She was on the bond and the lease, however the real estate agent says we can’t withhold any of her bond to cover the power bill, or any cleaning from the mess she left. Is there anything we can do? finally relocated to Brisbane. Just did a Entry Condition Report – so weird

So we just went through the Entry Condition Report with the owner and the owner’s agent of the small, post war box we just rented. What a humiliating 3.5 hours. I bought a new, larger mailbox but learned that I cannot mount it on the rotten fence without getting written permission first. I cannot change a light bulb myself. We’re supposta buy the replacement bulb then a special service comes and installs it, we get the bill. I find this level of infantilism bazaar. Is this the norm? submitted by /u/Gladtis [link] [comments]
