Camping spots with 4wd, tents and a 18 month old

Looking to go camping this long weekend. I don’t mind travelling a couple of hours. I have a 4wd but it’s not lifted. Looking for somewhere that I can set up camp and relax. Somewhere with some general walks would be nice. Some water or a beach that the little one could splash in would be perfect. Perhaps somewhere that gets a nice breeze to I don’t melt lol. Any suggestions? submitted by /u/muntted [link] [comments]

Donating Business clothes

I have about 15 really nice hardly worn male business shirts (mostly TM Lewin) and two suits which I’d like to donate so someone looking to get a leg up and find a job or feel a bit more comfortable in the office. I had a look at dressforsuccess but they seem to only focus on Woman. Suitedforsuccess is woman only too. Feels a bit rough to just dump $3000 worth of clothes outside the Vinnies bin. Cheers (I’m 180cm and about 90kg, so your standard size L if anyone on here is keen, jsut PM me) submitted by /u/noes_oh [link] [comments]

Options for wet iPhone

Bugger. Splashed a bit of water on my phone yesterday and now it won’t power on? Any suggestions on what my options are. It’s 18 months into a 24 month Telstra plan and I believe I may be able to trade it in for about $500. Any advice? Is repair an option? submitted by /u/mcguyver63 [link] [comments]

A small tip that might help with sleeping in this heat

At night, put a fresh t-shirt over your pillow. Last summer (my first proper one in bris) I was waking up every night with my head, neck and and pillow absolutely drenched in sweat. Then I started doing this trick and my nights got dramatically better to the point where I feel like I practically don’t sweat at all. I’m not sure exactly why it’s so effective, but I’m assuming it’s because t-shirts are more absorbant than pillow cases, and also because you can swap them out for fresh ones much quicker than you usually do with pillow cases. I suppose you could go hardcore and use a towel if t-shirts dont cut it for you. submitted by /u/guitarraus [link] [comments]
