Working out the best internet option.

Hey everyone, can anyone step me through how to work out the best/smartest internet service option? Money isn’t a huge factor (within reason). We’re more than a year away from NBN (HFC), we have Foxtel in the street and connectors in the house, and we’re currently on TPG ADSL2. But I’m getting increasing frustrated by poor service, and my in-laws are moving in for a few months, so bandwidth is at a premium. New scam? "Im calling about your accident"

Just happened. They started off with they were calling about ‘my car accident’, I was pretty short and definite in my response so they just hung up on me. Was a bit weird, the number was the same/similar as most ‘im calling from windows’ and had the same delay before from using an autodialler. Is this a new scam? I hadn’t had this one before.
