I don't know how something so cute can make so much noise on my roof

So I just walked back into my room after being in the bathroom and close the door behind me, after a minute I see something in the corner of my eye, there’s a possum in my bedroom. I look at it slightly confused, I slowly get up so I don’t spook it, it runs under my desk, I slowly walk to and open the door so I don’t freak it out, I don’t really know what these things would do if startled, by the time I step back over to my bed and try to get my phone to take a picture it just strolls out my bedroom door and out the front door. (Share place where every room is locked individually so the door is open most of the time) So… That just happened. Little thing was pretty cute. submitted by /u/Inuit-Joe [link] [comments]

Supp reddit, any good tips from the locals?

Hi all, I’ll be catching a flight with a friend of mine from Malta to Brisbane in two months time and was wondering if you guys can enlighten me with some advise that I can find useful in my stay here.. On our first few days we’re planning on searching for a 4×4 vehicle that will be used as a home-base for two years going around the beautiful lands of Australia.. After successfully purchasing a vehicle, we’re going to search for farmwork in QLD to meet the 88 days criteria for the 2nd Year Visa of the Working Holiday Visa Program..As soon as we’re employed we’ll most likely spend our time checking out awesome scenic look-outs and do the unexpected.. We’re mainly concerned where is best to find a farm to work from Brisbane, Bundarberg, Townsville & Ciarns and how is the best way to find such work.. also curious

We are a small cattle farm in the Northern Rivers, on a property 50% grass, 50% new and regenerating rainforest. Check out our happy-ass cows: https://imgur.com/a/3Qb5V We have a small lot of fat little grass fed Murray Grey calves. They’re organic. They live in the happiest cow-farm you have ever seen, and their carbon emissions are offset by 7Ha. of rainforest and replanted woodland. We’re selling them, and you should eat them. We’re offering them at $18/kg for a full beast dressed (cut up) as you like and delivered! They weigh in at about 250kg on foot, which will amount to about 150-180kg of beef (you’ll be
