Car alarm and excessive noise

There is a car that is parked in our unit complex and it’s alarm has been going off (the alarm is it’s horn) for the past two days in spurts. It’s extremely loud, and goes through the night and early morning, with no one attending to it. No one knows who the owner is and the car hasn’t moved in three days. I have called police link twice and also neighbours have done the same, with zero action from the calls. Any one have any other recommendations or dealt with a similar situation? submitted by /u/shadyxGKMC [link] [comments]

Centrelink debt collection help please…

Hi so my mum received a letter from ‘dun and bradstreet’ saying that we need to pay a debt. My mum paid it today. The letter said ‘it was found to be in excess of your estimated family income which has resulted in this debt’. I just came home and i heard on the news that there was some problem or something about this for the past 2 months or so. I’m really not sure if we have been scammed or tricked. I currently receive payments from centrelink and it got reduced as my mums income increased for the past financial year. So i just want to know if we got scammed or not and what the talk is all about regrding the centerlink debt collection. I’m very worried and just need a peace of mind about what has happened. Thanks so much submitted by /u/charliebobzbear [link] [comments]

Food suggestions for watching sport on the TV.

Mate’s inviting me over to his place for the Formula One on his HD Foxtel/’wall-sized’ TV setup.. He’s covering the drinks, and I’m bringing some of the food. My go to is the “Breakfast Boat”, but anyone got any other ideas for sports food I can make and transport in my car easily? What food do you make / are renowned for putting on for the “big game” when you have friends over? Party Pies won’t cut it in this thread… May help other /r/brisbane people as we’re coming into the Footy/Motorsport/etc seasons.. submitted by /u/BrisWombat [link] [comments]
