How do visitors/foreigners handle navigating Brisbane buses?

I have lived in Brisbane for most of my life and I cannot fathom how someone with no familirity with Brisbane roads could catch a bus. At night times it’s nearly impossible without phone GPS. My point is, once you’re on a bus you pretty much have no idea where you are or what the next available stop is. Why is it we don’t have automated announcements of upcoming stops? Hi Brisbane, I think I'm in a bit of trouble now…

Long story short, I have a performance review at work tomorrow. I’ve been there 4 months so they can theoretically just dispatch with me on the spot. I got an email today at 4pm inviting me to the meeting tomorrow with the manager and my team leader. I’m scared shitless because if I lose the job then I’m not entitled to any welfare and I have no family in Australia. I have limited savings. If I’m still in probation, I have no rights, right? Their issues are with my performance in general but I feel like I can really address these if they give me the chance. The email also said I could bring one support person with me if I wish, which leads me to think my head is on the executioner’s block. For those wondering I work for a finance company in a call centre. I haven’t done

Looking for a gym partner/s at Elizabeth St Fitness First

Looking for straight gym partner or group of people to work out with every weekday at 5pm. I have a group of guys that I work with at 6pm but that is too late. I want to go earlier and get out earlier. I will approach some people in the gym at that time and see how I go but thought I would put it out there on here and see if there was anyone. I weigh 74 kilos so someone around that would be good. Happy to work out with anyone but obviously someone 100kgs is going to be lifting weight significantly different. I am male 38 yrs.
