Mature Age Students

Hi Reddit Brisbane, I was just wondering if there are any mature age students (Uni) who could share their experiences with returning to study at a later age. Is it worth it? What did you study and where did/will it lead? Is it possible to fit around full time work? That sort of thing. Thanks for any input in advance. submitted by /u/fuckyouicecube [link] [comments]

Morningside: Lost Chihuahua.

Hi all! Dog got out sometime this morning in the Richmond Rd / Ayr St area. She needs medication to control doggy-epilepsy and is an inside dog but snuck out today for an adventure before anyone noticed. She’s usually curled-up in one of her beds quietly napping, but not today. If anyone knows anything please let me know! Thanks. Here is an image of her. She should still wearing the collar in the photo, and has a BCC dog rego number tag and is also microchipped. Note that she’s also usually terribly quiet and generally doesn’t bark, and when she does try to bark it’s just a silly raspy sound when dinner is being put in her bowl. Locks on the *outside* of the master bedroom door in our new rental.. why?

Hey guys, I didn’t really know where else to put this.. I figure why not ask the locals The new house my partner and I are renting has locks on the outside of the master bedroom… basically meaning you can lock people inside the room from the outside. I get weird vibes about this, I’ve heard about locks on the outside of kids doors to stop them from wandering of a night time… but master bedroom sounds a little weird. I wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone has any experience with this and can give a non-creepy explanation to it.. Edit: this is the type of lock submitted by /u/Zombree18 [link] [comments]
