Hi there. Been deciding between places in Fortitude Valley. I’ve heard so many stories regarding safety in the valley. I don’t have a car so I will walking a lot or using the bus. Should I live in the heart of chinatown or on the outskirts? I need a place close to Royal Brisbane hospital and my budget is up till $400. I’ve searched high and low and these are the best deals I can find that are clean and satisfy me. I want to live near restaurants otherwise I would’ve looked into Herston or Kelvin Grove. Just concerned about safety, any thoughts on these particular streets: Duncan and Water Street. I should add I go out sometimes at night and walk home late.
