I thought restaurants had to give you water for free if you asked. It’s been a while since it’s come up for me since most places give me water before I even ask or provide self-service. But I went to Burger Urge today for the first time and when I asked for a glass of water she said they had bottled water. So I asked if they had tap and she said they weren’t meant to give people tap water, but she got me a glass anyway. Obviously it’s store policy not to give glasses of water.
