As a CBD worker who works very close to the buildings to be demolished myself and my colleagues have concerns about the amount of dust in particular asbestos dust that’s going to be floating around. There’s a heck of a lot of demolition to be done. Queens Wharf don’t even seem to be able to confirm that there is asbestos. They use terminology such as “any asbestos found” as if there’s some uncertainty about whether there’s asbestos. There is tonnes of the stuff in those buildings.
