Kids need to carry massive school bags. When I went to school, we carried a lot of books but I thought by 2017 that tablets/laptops would have reduced the load. Instead, the bags seem have grown. You can only imagine the damage being done to a developing spine. Some of these bags would be too big to take on a plane as carry-on.
