the Optus saga continues

Following up on https://redd.it/6ab136 … I gave up on trying to use Optus for phone, and am about to give up on them for internet. Three weeks (and 11 customer support contacts, speaking to 30+ agents) later, the tech arrived to install my internet yesterday. The guy fumbled around for a few hours then walked away saying he would call me. Today I called Optus to see what was up, and these are the highlights (listed in order of agent on my most recent call today): 8: it looks like you are NBN- I will transfer you. 9: I can’t find your account… you must be cable, I will transfer you. 10: it looks like the line is broken 736 meters from your house… we will repair it by Friday. I don’t get how it took over two hours on the phone for agent 10 (likely closer to 30 overall
