Hey so I had planned to move in with a lady and dropped some of my stuff there (bad idea) nothing was signed and no bond paid. It has been there a week and a half and in that time my mum had fallen sick and asked me to live with her. I called the lady to let her know I can’t move in and she told me if I want my stuff I have to pay her 400. I’m happy to pay her off this money but need my belongings and she told me that I can’t collect anything until she has all the money. Does anybody here know my rights?
