Own a house. It’s insured. If it burns down i get a new house up to $550k On top of hill. Cannot flood. I don’t have electronics things apart from an old laptop. No jewellery. I think my house would probably not be hugely difficult to break into if someone wanted to and given that it’s an old Queenslander and it has lots of timber windows and doors and only 2 have crimsafe however I’m going to get a burglar alarm anyway. My furniture is pretty much all off Gumtree but it’s quite nice stuff however there’s nothing that’s really antique and particularily valuable. It would just take time to build up the furniture again given that most of it is kind of classy-ish.
