Hey guys. Just curious about what the general opinion on QUT’s Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment is and if it’s a useful way to enter the games industry. From what I’ve read on the internet in forum posts the consensus is that it’s not worthwhile and someone interested in game development is better served by studying IT and majoring in computer science, but I couldn’t find any posts more recent than 5 or 6 years ago so maybe something has changed since then.
