Does anyone have any experience with a portable air con unit? Summer’s coming and as anyone in Brisbane knows it’s gonna get hot and sticky as fuck. Last summer I spent the most of it wishing I had air con in my room. My room isn’t big enough to get a big air con unit installed so I’ve been looking at the portable ones. I have yet to buy one because I have a few reservations about them. Mainly that they constantly require somewhere for the water to go and secondly that they use an absolute shitload of power. Just wondering if anyone can give some advice on whether or not I should be looking at one? I’m a person that loves going to hotels and putting the air con on at max because it doesn’t cost me anything to do it. I live in a flat with 3 other
