So the hot water tap was leaking the other day in the shower. Replaced it without issue. Today the cold tap is leaking so I attempted to replace the washer in that. Everything seemed to be going ok however when the water is turned back on, and the shower is fully off, water still drips out and can clearly be heard running through the pipes. Fine, figured the taps are old, may as well replace them and the spindles. Went to Bunnings, got new taps and spindles (that are identical to the old ones), put them in, and exact same problem.
