As the title suggests my husband and I are moving to Samford Valley soon. We currently live on the southside and settled here 6 mths ago when we couldn’t find what we wanted in Samford in a rushed move. Now we’ve found somewhere and we’re super excited after another drive out yesterday. Only issue in our minds is the commute. We don’t mind having to drive further, that’s a given and comes with the territory but we have no local experience of the traffic conditions. Hubby is headed out towards Ipswich for work and I work at Herston, both normal business hours. Guess we’re just after some local knowledge and maybe even a few tips/tricks for avoiding traffic. Also after ideas on local opportunities to meet new friends. We like the look of the tennis clubs and one of the church’s we visited seems nice. Anything else we should know
