Hi all, My girlfriend and I are moving to Brisbane from the states for 2 years starting in September. It is too early to lock down a place to rent, but we are interested to see what kind of neighborhoods we should look at before the search begins. Some background: we are both in our mid-20’s and would like to be relatively close to downtown. We plan on sharing a furnished 1 bdrm apartment and looking to spend no more than $400/week for rent. If possible we’d like to be close to bars, coffee shops, restaurants (the more beer the better).
