Hi Brisbane! Wondering if anyone is able to help with a query, or point me in the right direction. I’m wondering about the legality of listening devices in the workplace – I work in a small cafe and recently listening device was fitted to the side of the cafe by management that records even the slightest whisper inside the cafe. There is no seating inside, literally just two workers serving takeaway coffee, so conversations are either between two workers or to the customers. The workers have not be informed of this device by the workplace, and we would have no way of knowing had it not have been for the person who installed it that (far away from the cafe) voiced his concern to us.
