Just want to say a quick thank you

Somewhere in Brisbane there’s a teenage kid I want to say thank you to. I’m staying with my 83 year old grandmother for the moment. She lost her husband last May, and I’m here until this June to provide a modicum of company. She told me a story recently about how she and a relatively young teenager were waiting at a crossing. The lights turned green and they started out. She’s mobile but slow, so he reached the other side long before she did. But he turned around, and came back to walk across with her saying that it didn’t matter that the cars wanted to turn through them, but that “they would have to wait.” Man, if you’re reading this, thank you. It makes me so happy to know that even in a city, once I leave there’ll be people who are willing to do that little bit extra
