At the moment I’m in the work for the dole phase at an animal shelter, animal rights and animal welfare has always been an interest of mine so it’s right up my alley employment wise, especially since I’ve also been a volunteer and have become fairly experienced there I’ve been wanting to learn more of the role. Recently an internship program has started there which I inquired about with the HR manager and the coordinator of both the WFD and internship programs and was met with good reception to the idea of becoming an intern, and I genuinely think I have a reasonable chance of gaining employment there afterwards. I was told to discuss the internship with my job provider and to get them to call the HR manager.
