Hi friendly people of /r/Brisbane, I’m a 26 year old friendly female science nerd, with an overwhelming passion for anything and everything music. While I mostly enjoy punk, metal, rock and grunge, I’ll listen to anything and am wanting to broaden my horizons by seeing new bands (local or international) with new friends. Sadly, none of my friends enjoy the same music as me, and I’ve felt that going to gigs alone or with somebody just to keep me company (who isn’t there for the band) isn’t as much fun. I really want to see The Descendants next month, and don’t want to go alone.. so what better time to start meeting new people to join me for gig fun.
