We were planning to move there early 2018, however, a lot has happened in the past 3 months, the most relevant thing being: I was a victim of an express kidnapping – the thugs held me at gunpoint for 40 minutes, took off with my car, cell phone and about 1.5K AUD. This is when we said enough is enough. My wife is currently in Germany with her family, she went there initially to check out a job opportunity that did not work out. So now we have decided to anticipate our plans and move down.
