I’ve purchased two things from Mt Gravatt Myer in the last month, and on both separate occasions, the staff have added a “Myer Community Fund Donation” charge on to my receipt without ever mentioning it. It’s not the donating that gets me. In fact, if the staff had asked, I would’ve donated anyway. It’s the idea that two separate staff members on different days have slyly added these donations on to my sale without mentioning a single word about it. So, I just wanted to throw it out there, because my curiosity is getting the better of me on this, and I want to know if it’s randomly happened to me twice, or if it happened to everyone that has been through there. At this time I haven’t mentioned anything to Myer because I feel a bit shit being petty about a few bucks. So if you have a receipt
