A week or two ago I placed an add on Service Seeking for an Electrician, and had several responses, a couple based on a high number of positive reviews seemed good. The first who came out seemed like an honest guy although it was sensible to get a comparative quote, and a second company, SEQ Data and Electrical was contacted. I have only a verbal account of that conversation, but the short of it was that the first quote I’d been given at 5.2k was on the high side for the work, and that this job would be around 4-4.5k, no problems, and although that comes into it, it’s not the real issue/s. On the day of arrival, the 2 guys walked in and got to work, and there was very little communication. They knew doing the downlights was a part of the job and they started in the downstairs
