G’day, We’ve been with the same accountants since we registered our company / started a small business, and while they’ve been okay they’re not very good at pointing out potential tax minimisation. Nothing dodgy, just finding out after the fact about Government incentives or timing asset purchases to get the best bang for buck. The latest issue involves us paying for tax for the future, while owing a previous years tax which means we’re suddenly up for a big chunk of coin which we thought we were already paying off. Does anyone know a good accountant, preferably someone who’s bread and butter is small business?
