(Crossposted.) My partner is applying for DSP (and I’m going for the carer’s pension) – this is due to psychological reasons (anxiety, depression, he’s never held a job due to this and the related effects). We’re waiting on the report from a second psych at the moment, and he’s really worried that he’s not going to be approved, due to tightening restrictions, etc, around DSP. We’ve complied with everything that Centrelink wants – with this report, we’ll have something from his regular pysch, his GP an now a clinical psych. I’ve filled in every scrap of paperwork exactly as I’ve wanted. Is there anything else that I can do to ensure that it goes through? Any magic words or phrases that will help Centrelink along with the process? submitted by /u/PatchingStar [link] [comments]
