Hi so my mum received a letter from ‘dun and bradstreet’ saying that we need to pay a debt. My mum paid it today. The letter said ‘it was found to be in excess of your estimated family income which has resulted in this debt’. I just came home and i heard on the news that there was some problem or something about this for the past 2 months or so. I’m really not sure if we have been scammed or tricked. I currently receive payments from centrelink and it got reduced as my mums income increased for the past financial year. So i just want to know if we got scammed or not and what the talk is all about regrding the centerlink debt collection. I’m very worried and just need a peace of mind about what has happened.
