Just hoping to get some thoughts from fellow Brisbane Redditors around Cable internet. I live near the Gabba and have had Optus Cable with premium speed pack for 5 years now. I have this intermittent problem where internet speeds are super fast during the day but at night they drop to the point I can’t run HD streaming and any kind of downloading drops to about 350KB. I understand congestion in the evenings but this is crap. I find that when I have the energy to ring them and go through 10 minutes of button mashing and then waiting for a human voice, eventually (sometimes) they fix the problem for a while I am wondering if I would get a better experience with Telstra.
