I was trying to sign up with Optus but it has been a disaster and I am ready to pull the plug (story to follow)… who should I use for internet and mobile in Brisbane? Looking for unlimited/10gb per month, respectively. My Optus experience… I signed up for internet on April 28 and was told within 5 business days an installation appointment would be scheduled. Nothing happened in that timeframe so I contacted Optus via live chat to resolve the issue. After 6… SIX live chats I was told that I had singed up for a self install and that my package would arrive within a week. Two days later Optus phoned to schedule my installation date, which is now a full month after I ordered it. Meanwhile, my prepaid phone plan was running out of data because I was tethering to my laptop while I waited for my internet
