I’m 10km from the CBD on Optus cable and it’s been fine most of the time. I’m getting 17mbps down, right now over wi fi, and 0.2 upload which is whatevs for domestic use, I guess. Started receiving letters saying “Guess what?! You’re getting NBN! Sign up to our shit, it’s the fastest shit. Get on our unlimited shit plan!” But I’m sceptical, and the plans are $10-$20 per month more expensive than we are currently paying. Any first hand experience out there?
