What you can’t see is that she moved into the hallway after becoming overwhelmed and crying at the sight of her dying mother. You can’t see the months of agony and torture her family have been going through watching her mother slowly waste away from the cancer eating her brain. You weren’t there for the trips to the hospital for radiation treatment where she had to be carried or dragged to the car because she didn’t have the strength anymore to stand. You didn’t see that she couldn’t be woken up today for her radiation treatment. You weren’t there when she was moved to palliative care today. Where, upon waking, spoke a garbled mess of nothing.
