New Residential and Retail Towers Planned For Toowong

Stockland the property developer have finally lodged an application to redevelop the current Toowong Woolworths supermarket on Sherwood Road and High Street into three 25-storey towers of mixed use. The towers are designed by DC8 Studio and SJB Architects.
To be built right across the Toowong Village Shopping Centre, the planned development will feature three residential towers with a total of 530 apartments and 2000 sqm for 18 retail tenancies.

The site sprawls over 1.3 hectares. It currently houses a Woolworths supermarket, 14 specialty stores and a car park, and is situated across a Coles Supermarket branch.
Stockland plans to build the development in three stages. All three buildings will feature upper storey residential units, parking levels, and ground level retail space.
About three minutes away on Archer Street is another planned development, a $430 million project  by Sunland which it calls Grace on Coronation Drive.
