Does anyone have any experience with, or opinions of, Australis College?
Looking for work at the moment, and see that they are advertising for a position within my area. I’m not desperate for a job, but it seems like it might be a good. Does anyone have any experience with them? I know RTO’s in Brisbane are usually not very good, but I don’t know too much about Australias. They also only have one Google Review, so not really too much to go on. New here too sorry, so apologies if this is against the rules. Thanks! submitted by /u/squidmckee [link] [comments]
What charity would r/Brisbane support?
Hi All, I’m thinking off organising a r/Brisbane meet up with a Kama keg mid September. I’m just wondering what charity would you support on the name of cheep beer? Personally I would like a local charity doing some good in Brisbane but I’m opened to all ideas. submitted by /u/Chap82 [link] [comments]
Gaming Controller Donations
My Rotary club is currently hoping to customise gaming controllers for disabled people. This can include making buttons easier to press, moving the location of buttons on the controller or even making buttons that can be pressed with other parts of the body. This not only allows people to play games but also allows them to join in with online communities, which is important for a lot of isolated people. In order to do this, we need controllers. They can be for any system, Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo or PC. Although most people would prefer to play the latest systems (PS4 or XBone) we can also use controllers for older systems. Importantly we can also use broken controllers. If you’ve got any unused for broken controllers you’d be able to donate please send me a message and I’ll arrange to collect them. submitted by /u/elephantpantsgod [link] [comments]
Smorgasbords in Brisbane
Hi team – we’re celebrating a 16th birthday in a few weeks. We were thinking of heading to the Sofitel for their lunch buffet, but they’ve jacked their price up and now it’s $89 per adult / $44 per child, which will end up being quite a costly affair (it’s going to be family, so there will be more adults than kids!) So, what are your recommendations for best smorgasbord / buffet-style lunch in Brisbane? submitted by /u/entreprenerds [link] [comments]
