After 12 months of daily use, my electric longboard died… So now I’ve gotta go back to walking to work like a peasant. I’ve had an itch to get into regular skating ever since I got this damn thing, but won’t have the dosh to get proper trucks/deck until payday. Bit of a shot in the dark, but anyone got a spare they wouldn’t mind parting with? Only seems to be cruisers/penny’s and kmart trash on gumtree 🙁 submitted by /u/TheLilHipster [link] [comments]

How far has Campbell Newman fallen?

For a moment, I contemplated confronting him on behalf of all my mates who had lost their jobs under his fascist regime. In the end, I decided that enjoying the delicious schadenfraude of the situation was reward enough. And it was. submitted by /u/crazycat68 [link] [comments]

Service Desk roles available in Brisbane
Howdy, I run the Brisbane office of an IT Managed Service Provider called blueAPACHE. Due to alot of growth recently, we have a number of positions available, most notably on our Service Desk. This is not your typical IT Service Desk – we look for quite experienced staff (ie, not “level 1”), and staff are actually empowered to solve problems, not just follow a script. Problems could be as varied as password resets to troubleshooting performance issues on a SAN – so it definately keeps the job interesting and varied (much moreso than a normal Service Desk job). Just to give you a little more info about us… We offer a wide range of services such as: Managed Services (all you can eat IT support for businesses) Fully-managed private networks (MPLS WAN) Our own Cloud Infrastructure A hosted telephony service We have around 100 staff across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne,
