Probably not needed for those on /r/brisbane, but just a refresher anyway – lane filtering for motorbikes is legal

So after incident #1292829 of brisbane motorists beeping / swearing / miming insults at me while filtering within the legal circumstances (>30km/h, not between turning lanes or curbside) I figured I’d do a tiny bit of awareness raising. I’ve recently got myself a gopro just due to the sheer amount of drivers that don’t pay attention while driving and the amount of abuse directed at me. Struggling with addiction

Throwaway for obvious reasons. Im reaching out in the hopes that someone can help me help myself. Early 30s male struggling with a cannabis addiction, started as a means of coping with self diagnosed ptsd. Iv had many tries at finding a phycologist or therapist that can help my take control of or at least understand my life. But I’ve found that everyone I see is uneducated about the use of cannabis and more importantly CBD in treatment of my symptoms and I feel horrible after leaving the appointments. I guess I’m hoping for someone that might have had a similar experience or a recommendation for someone to talk to that actually understands my position from experience. PSA: Check your phone bills!

To start this off I am not trying to cause drama about the 2 telecoms I know this is happening under but more to make everyone aware of it as I had no clue about it until it happen to me. Optus Email: We’ve made some changes to our privacy policy. This affects information we collect about use of your service. From 30 July, we may provide trusted 3rd parties and advertisers with anonymous data. This is total bullshit, about 1 month ago I had the pleasure of having to deal with extra charges on my monthly bill from Optus. Looking into they notified me that I was being charged by a 3rd party content supplier. Looking through old SMS’ I notice a number I didn’t know and thought was a spam that had just gotten my number, little did I know the weekly “FreeMsg: Your subscription to Oznfun costs

Looking for some pro-tips on flower purchasing

Hey peeps, have been with my gf for a while now and I want to buy her some flowers for putting up with me for so long without punching me in the face. From what I can see on various online stores, it’s super expensive to buy flowers, does anyone have any pro-tips on how to go about it? Is it cheaper to find a florist and buy in store?
