Has anyone had any experience with a wool mattress or other organic/natural mattress
Bought a nice mattress. It smells of chemicals. Put it in the sun for weeks. Still smells of chemicals. It was the second one as the first had a burn so that is just how the mattress is. It has memory foam, antibacterial treatment and other chemical things plus I think the fire retardants are making me sick. So I am looking into an organic mattress such as an organic cotton futon or a wool mattress. I also see there is natural latex. What are other people’s experience with natural bedding? Expensive so I am trying to find out more and I cannot find a supplier in Brisbane. submitted by /u/Gatoblanconz [link] [comments]

Anyone noticed that the new UQ ads are almost identical to the QUT ads?
If they added university to the ‘real world’ you couldn’t tell… I’m not sure if this is good or bad marketing TBH. Kinda suggests there not the leader though. submitted by /u/Spalaka [link] [comments]

You may be interested to know that the current design of King George Square was the winning entry from a competition held in 2006. As part of the judging process, Council invited residents and visitors of Brisbane to provide feedback on the competition finalists, whose entries were displayed in the foyer of Brisbane City hall. This feedback was used when choosing the winning design. The brief for the King George Square redesign was for it to serve as a daily meeting place for the community, as well as to accommodate a large number of people comfortably at major events. As you will appreciate, this required a particular design approach to be able to cope with large scale functions. Since the redesign,
