Possibly coming down for riverfire tomorrow, any tips?
After always forgetting about it or not having time, I’m currently thinking about making a last minute decision to come to brisbane for riverfire (first time) with a few others. We know when all the flypasts and the fireworks are, but I don’t know much more than that. We were thinking about maybe getting there at around 9-10am so we can spend the day in the city. Is there any special stuff going on (food stalls, performances) etc during the day to keep us occupied? I presume all the places like Southbank, Kangaroo point, Riverside near ferry terminal, etc will be packed, so any places that are perhaps less popular but still have a good view? If we were to go in one of the more populated areas to watch, how early do we have to get there? What’s traffic like after the fireworks? We’ll be driving there. submitted by

Good photo places/classes?
Got a camera about a year ago I am still yet to properly use or learn how to use well. Was looking for some good areas to mess around with it and possibly get some decent shots besides the standard southbank area river shots.
