Selling Cheap Tickets to Everytime I Die Letlive Counterparts Brisbane

I live in sydney and accidentally bought tickets for the queensland gig. Oztix won’t refund or exchange the tickets and recommended selling them. I bought two for 130 and i’m doing them both for 100. It’s a printable pdf file with the barcode and all. I’ve got the receipt and the oztix email to sell it. They were not helpful at all. submitted by /u/odamnitsdan [link] [comments]

JUSTICE.

Today our sharehouse got robbed by a group of about 5 or 6 teenagers who were in school uniform. They stole a playstation, watch, and some other electronics from our downstairs area which was unfortunately left unlocked. Another housemate was upstairs in the kitchen and he didn’t hear them inside the house, however he recalls seeing a group of kids in uniform running down the street into the park at about the time the theft happened. I need help identifying what school they are from so I can give details to the police. They were wearing purple shirts with either yellow or green ties. Some were wearing blazers and long pants and other shorts with long socks. Any help identifying these thieves would be appreciated as we most likely won’t be able to claim on our insurance as there was no sign of forced entry. Thanks in advance. submitted by

Anyone want to play European Handball?

Salisbury Super Sports are hosing a beginner friendly European Handball tournament on Monday 17th October. Starts at 6pm and costs $15 per player. Teams will be picked with experienced and beginner players evenly spread out. I played for a few years, it’s a fantastic fast sport. It’s a mixed comp, so male and female players are welcome. Afterwards, if you decide you want to keep playing, there should be a team looking for extra players for the regular season. Register to play here submitted by /u/Jet51 [link] [comments]

Deliveroo Employees

Seeing these guys pop up a lot now and could probably help me get off my publicly hated maccas delivery job. And with the relief of passing Q-Ride before Oct deliveroo seems like wide open doors while I’m at uni. If any of you guys have the inside scoop on the Brisbane service do you guys know if: the hours are flexible? Similar to uber can I just pick when I get to work and just run errands when prompted? what’s the pay like? Plus tax and everything. Does the taxation office put them in a high tax threshold? (e.g independent business owners) Seems like a good gig, but knowing the speed bumps uber had to deal with I’m kinda cautious about how stable the job would be. Any advice would be great! submitted by /u/fergie_d [link] [comments]

What are my legal rights here?

My parent, younger brother and my self both got an electric shock by this light switch. According to Energex, the Problem was A screw that isn’t permitted to hold up light switches (circa 2008) was used, and has poked through the Insulation and is touching live wire. Energex reported that The screw is transmitting 240v, same current as a Downed Power-line. The light circuit has been disconnected, but all other switches stay on. This is a rental property. The house was built in the early 1990’s, (we think). This was the report given by Energex. Obvious things hidden. https://gyazo.com/a17446be1bca53a931c600d30276b14a. The rental bisnuess is very shonky. The handyman is the husband of the company CEO’s friend. We believe he actually carried out the installation of the light switches, etc. When we were moving in, The “handyman” was refitting some fuses (ancient powerbox) and asked if we had any Copper around.
