Opinions on Springfield lakes/Brookwater area?

Hi there ! Myself, my wife( we re both 27) and young 2 year old are moving up to Brisbane to be closer to my family and a couple friends who live near indooroopilly (which is out of our price range). I like new developments and don’t mind the lack of a large yard etc so that’s not an issue but i’ve been hearing that contrary to what I had previously been told that springfield area has become a bit of a lower socio economic area with all the associated crime that entails. Guitar shop where I can try out a few pedals?

Hey guys, looking for the best guitar shop in brisbane that will let me sit in a room and fuck around with some pedals for a while. I’m really slow at making decisions on purchases most of the time (total opposite of an impulse buyer), so it usually takes me a few visits to a store before I actually buy anything. I’m looking for somewhere that will let me try a few pedals for an hour or so, then go away and do the research before I actually come back and buy anything without the staff just assuming I’m a time waster. Anyone got tips on the best places to check out? How's everyone liking Uber Eats?

Curious how everyone’s been going with Uber Eats since it dropped last week. What’s good? What’s not? I’ve had two deliveries so far, both times the drivers got lost due to the app taking them to the street behind mine which is kind of lame, but workable. Both drivers were legends so no complaints with Uber especially given it was their first weekend running it. Burroughs of New York Pizza – pizza was ok, a little overrated but not bad by any means. Ordered the “pizza fries” as a wildcard however and they were garbage, did not travel well at all and tasted completely bland. Pretty unnecessary creation, just a dollop of tomato base sauce and some cheese on floppy lukewarm chips. The Flying Cock – Ordered a meal with the beef burger, popcorn chicken and fries. Much better this time around, burger and popcorn chicken was pretty thilling however

Places offering free refills in the CBD?

I asked a question like this a couple of months ago about free refills on the south side and got a few responses. however now I’m in need of a place which offers free soft drink refills in the CBD where I could go for an hour or two before/after work a couple times a week. If anyone’s seen or eaten anywhere in the CBD which offers free refills it would be greatly appreciated to save me searching everyone place there. Looking for Picture Framer formerly Eagle St Markets

There was a picture framer at the former Eagle St markets (on Sundays) about 4 or 5 years ago. He did excellent work, was based on the Gold Coast (where he formerly had a shop at Runaway Bay) Riverside Markets have now taken over and I can’t find this gent.
