Difference between UQ and QUT for IT/math

hi Reddit 🙂 just curious as to what your thoughts are on the difference between UQ and QUT are? specifically in the areas of IT (CS) and math, which is what I am planning to do in 2018. heard from others that QUT is “better” for IT, but I would like to hear specific differences. also i am considering possibly doing science (physics) instead of math so anything about that would be much appreciated! submitted by /u/Wooperswish [link] [comments]

Dreamworld Tragedy. 4 dead. Ardent Leisure, the operator of the Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast, had its share price fall by as much as 8 per cent in the wake of the accident.

4 adventurous persons were torn apart on a conveyor belt on a Dreamworld fun ride when their water craft tipped over entrapping their limbs like palm branches in a commercial garden mulching machine. Up to 20 litres of human blood and various organs such as lungs and livers and various other tissues are predicted to be floating about in the now still water ways. Is there such a thing as a doll hospital/old toy fixer?

I recently got my really old Teddy Ruxpin back from being in storage for 20 years or more. It has some damage, such as one eye is no longer in position and looks super creepy. Just wondering if there was such a thing as a doll hospital or toy fixer in Brisbane? I would love to have him fixed, even just cosmetically (not sure if he works electronically as I am too scared to break it even more testing out a tape). submitted by /u/Atibug [link] [comments]

What's something everyone in Brisbane has done?

I was talking to a co-worker this morning about La Trobe Tce at Paddington, and someone said something about the “concrete lounge” up near the top. 3/4 of us admitted at some stage we’d made out on that chair (to other people, not to each other). That got us talking and we realised that we’d all at one stage (again, separately) parked on Mt Coo-tha to view the nocturnal sights (giggity), and all of us also confirmed a visit to Pancake Manor between 2-3am. So the question is – is there an activity that everyone who has lived in Brisbane for say 5 years or more would all agree to have done? submitted by /u/dannyr [link] [comments]
