road rules
Ive wondered about this question for many years, never got around to asking anyone. I learned to drive in a different state, hence my uncertainty. When youre at a traffic light controlled intersection and the light is green, you are wanting to turn right, there is no arrow light, and there is oncoming traffic. In south australia you can cross the line and enter the intersection, obviously if there is a break in the traffic you can turn right, but if the traffic keeps coming until the light turns red, you still have right of way and can legally turn right when the traffic clears. What makes me wonder is that a LOT of people in queensland dont take advantage of this law, and sit behind the line until the traffic clears, and just miss out on turning if the light goes red before the traffic clears. Any temp programmers out there? Or anyone looking for a programming gig?
Okay, we’re currently in need of a programmer preferably someone that can support and program C# and Visual Fox Pro (old tech I know, that’s why it’s hard to find one lol) If you can also recommend any agencies that can do this for hourly work that would be appreciated. Thanks! If interested please send me pm then we can talk specifics 🙂 submitted by /u/westzod [link] [comments]
Huge police presence at Carina
Anyone know what’s going on at Mayfield road? Seems to be down near San Sisto and St Martin’s schools. Roads closed, large amount of police, looked like there was a heap of people standing out on the road. submitted by /u/Birdwithaface [link] [comments]
Road Rules turning
Lately I have noticed alot of vechiles making a larger turn (either left or right) and turning into the lane beside them to make their turn easier. What I want to know is if yoou are crrsing along and a car in a turning lane decides to turn out in front of you to complete the turn who is liable if an accident occurs. I have had quite a few misses from these sort of drivers making these turns. Apologies I may not be describing it properly submitted by /u/_dicktation_ [link] [comments]
Anyone else notice a stack of butterflies around today?
Was driving today (from Redlands to Everton Park and back) and noticed a stack of butterflies everywhere I went. They had mostly solid white/yellow wings and seemed to be on every road I was on. The warmer weather today could maybe have bought them out, I dunno. Anyone else notice this? submitted by /u/foritwashe [link] [comments]

Brisbane, how many of you work in IT Support?
Not sure where else to turn to! I’ve got myself into a situation where I have few home user tech support type jobs come my way, and won’t be able to handle them all myself. If you’ve got a background in IT, you’re good with people and interested in earning some $$ let me know and we can talk more! Thanks guys! submitted by /u/Robertxo [link] [comments]
